Front Office (Guest Relations) Position Overview

The Volunteer Camp Host, Front Office, is a flexible, part time position (approximately 20 hours per week).

A camper trailer or motor home is required and free accommodation will be provided in exchange for compensation.

Tasks may include performing minor maintenance of facilities, reporting incidents and illegal activities, as well as answering visitor questions and receiving and reporting feedback.

Position is for the duration of May through September, a seasons commitment is preferred (flexible for the right candidate)

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with visitor reservations, check in/check out, assisting with organizing guest tours, campground maintenance.
  • Demonstrate a passion for excellence and a love for service.

Qualifications

  • Customer service/guest relations experience
  • Strong oral communication and people skills
  • Computer skills. Organizational skills
  • Non-confrontational, patient with the public
  • Positive attitude
  • First aid an asset

Supervision and Training

  • The Camp Host / Volunteer Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Park Manager and will require working with all RV Park and Campground staff and volunteers.
  • Camp Host will be trained on our reservation system and park policy/guidelines.
